Gardener / Maintenance Engineer - Fixed Term 1 year Contract

GARDENER / MAINTENANCE ENGINEER
Fixed Term 1 year contract

Darwin College is looking to appoint a Gardener / Maintenance engineer to cover the day-to-day upkeep of our hostel gardens and general maintenance throughout the College buildings.
The applicant would have good sound working knowledge and experience of:

*  General garden maintenance including the use of petrol mowers,
hedge cutters, strimmer’s and spraying etc.
*  General site maintenance including room set-ups, meter readings, small electrical,
plumbing & carpentry tasks.

The applicant would need to be conscientious, hardworking & reliable and be able to work on their own initiative and as a team player.
Qualifications in any of the above wound be a distinct advantage
A driving license would be essential.

Hours: 35 per week
Salary: £10.28 per hour
Start Date: Monday 2nd October
