Housekeeping Supervisor – Full Time

£26,385 per annum

We are seeking a full-time Housekeeping Supervisor to join our dedicated team, with a passion for ensuring the provision of a consistent high-quality housekeeping service to our College community. You will be responsible for assisting the Housekeeping Manager with the supervision of our housekeeping team, and will deputise for them during periods of annual leave and other periods when they might be unavailable.

To be successful you will need to have team management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both team members and other College departments. It is also essential that you have the ability to carry out housekeeping and cleaning duties including lifting and climbing stairs, and are also able to deal with the administrative aspects of this role.

The normal hours of work are 6am to 1.30pm Monday to Friday, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. One weekend a month you will be required to work either a Saturday or a Sunday for which you will be eligible to take a day off during the normal working week. There may be a requirement to work outside of these hours to attend training, meetings and to support College events.

Fundraising Manager – Full Time

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum based on working 35 hours per week.

The Fundraising Manager works within a small Development and Alumni Relations team and is responsible for the implementation and delivery of an innovative regular Giving Strategy, which aims to increase donor participation, as well as the value of philanthropic income to the annual fundraising programme.

You will need a proven track record of developing and delivering ‘Giving’ activities and communications; by phone, email, in person, and via other channels of communication. You will be an excellent communicator, have strong administration skills plus relevant knowledge of GDPR legislation relating to fundraising.

The role requires you to work at the Darwin College site in the centre of Cambridge with some flexibility to work from home. You will also be required to work occasionally outside of normal office hours to attend events in Cambridge and elsewhere as needed.

HR Advisor – Full Time or Part Time

Salary: £33,000-£36,000 based on a working 35 hours per week (depending on breadth of experience)

Hours of Work: 30-35 hours per week

We are looking for a proactive and highly organised HR Advisor to join our small HR team, reporting to the HR Manager. You will have proven experience of working at HR Co-ordinator level or above with minimal supervision, and be passionate about delivering a high quality HR service to the College community.

The role requires you to work at the Darwin College site in the centre of Cambridge five days per week. It is ideally a full-time role working 35 hours per week (plus a 30 minute unpaid lunch break), however, there is some flexibility to reduce this to 30 hours per week.
